Sibling photoshoot
Capturing the special bond between siblings is something parents strive to achieve. The majority of the time you want to be in the moment and not behind a screen capturing these beautiful occasions. This is where I come in. Using my experience, I can capture some wonderful images of you and your family interacting, showing off the loving bond you have for one another.
What I love about this style of photoshoot is that it's always enjoyable and fun, and most importantly, unique to your family.
Before the shoot takes place, we will have a chat about participating family members, getting to know who they are, and any likes or dislikes. When the shoot then takes place, I can then ensure there is some common ground,
helping kids to feel relaxed.
I always aim for a natural style of portrait, using natural light. My favourite shots are those that are unstaged and more fluid.
What to expect
I initially tend to capture the family as a collective together. Once this has been done, I will then photograph the little ones individually and then them playing with one another in a relaxed setting. As a mother myself I know this is not always that easy, so there is room for any unplanned chaos - and, if need be, I will just go with the flow - ensuring that we end up with high quality images you can treasure.
If possible I tend to try and get some indoor images first and then, weather permitting and if suitable, some outdoor images as well, allowing for a change of scenery. If you have a favourite place in mind, perhaps a particular walk that you enjoy, we can always take some shots on location too.

Frequently asked questions
Can the photoshoot involve several children?
Of course, it is a family affair and important for us to capture the bond the little ones have with different family members.
What if my child doesn't want to take part?
As mentioned previously, ahead of the shoot I ideally like to find out about and get to know each family member, so that on the day I can make them feel as relaxed as possible. The photoshoot does last between 1-2 hours - which normally leaves enough time to capture the shots we need.
Having been a photographer for over 16 years, I can adapt and overcome a variety of challenges.
